What are bats?
Let's find out about bats! Working with your classmates, click on the videos below, use the class library or websites provided to learn all about bats. Here are the questions you will need to answer after watching the videos, visiting the websites or reading our bat books:

1. How are bats cared for when they are young?
2. What is echolocation?
3. Why are bats important to us?
4. Name 3 facts about bats?

5. Tell about a few of the different types of bats you learned about.

Be sure to use a pencil and paper to write down the facts you feel are important. Make sure you have an answer for each question. You can listen to each video as many times as you need to. Have fun learning all about bats!
